Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of data and business processes associated with Chart Review, Targeting Analytics, and Risk Adjustment.
- Research and develop innovative analytics and business processes to generate value for Optum and our clients.
- Be a hands-on data expert, analyze and provide solutions to complex operations & data problems.
- Drive short term & long term strategies for targeting analytics, chart review business process, and data operations.
- Lead reengineering initiatives to modernize legacy analytics.
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate or above in an engineering or other quantitative field.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex conversations, presenting & driving decisions on complex business or data problems.
- Experience driving business and data solutions in a complex data environment.
- Extensive experience in complex data analysis with relational and non-relational (NoSQL) databases, mining large datasets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as an SME in any healthcare sub-domain or analytics working with healthcare datasets.
- Knowledge of data architecture, ETL, data warehouse design, and large-scale data processing.
- Ability to navigate or present a subject at a high level as well as a detail level using data.
