To bolster my client's Architecture team, I am seeking a Principal Data Architect with experience across multiple industries, including retail, for a permanent hybrid role in Dublin North. Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director of Architecture, you will play a pivotal role in making key architectural decisions that will shape the company's future. You will also serve as a mentor and role model for our engineering and product teams, promoting a data-driven approach across the organization. Your key responsibilities include: Collaborating closely with the product team to define roadmaps that align business and technology strategies, ensuring data is central to all decisions. Focusing on business requirements, data architecture, standards, impact assessments across domains, business cases, and high-level implementation plans. Designing and shaping comprehensive data solutions, identifying key architectural decisions, and addressing technical and architectural debt. Ensuring that data governance principles, policies, and standards are up-to-date, well-understood, and implemented across the organization. Creating and maintaining conceptual data models that support operational data storage and data warehousing needs.
