As a member of the data science team, you will report to the Director of Data Science and support Payment Integrity Decision Intelligence (PIDI) to build machine learning solutions and put them in production.

Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models into production, building and maintaining relationships with cross-functional teams, and engaging with subject matter experts to identify emerging customer needs.

Required qualifications include advanced proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques, as well as a track record of leading complex data science projects and developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.

Preferred qualifications include experience working with healthcare data and a natural curiosity to learn more and understand emerging trends and challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models into production, employing state-of-the-art techniques and libraries.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the wider PIDI cross-functional team to deploy data science solutions into production.
  • Engage with subject matter experts to identify emerging customer needs and develop innovative data-driven solutions.
  • Understand and comply with legal, ethical, and regulatory considerations in both data science delivery and in the wider business context.
  • Provide thought leadership on technological advances in AI and advanced analytics and their applications to the Payment integrity business.

Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.
  • Track record of leading complex data science projects with a cross-functional team and develop and deploy machine learning models in production environments.
  • Ability to proactively identify and prioritize high-impact data science projects aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with collaborating partners and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Advanced degree in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with healthcare data.
  • Natural curiosity to learn more, dig into details, and understand the key drivers of emerging trends and challenges.
