Machine Learning Engineer for Payment Integrity Decision Intelligence
Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models into production, employing state-of-the-art techniques and libraries, adhering to established processes for transitioning from development to production environments.
About the Role
- Build and maintain relationships with the wider PIDI cross-functional team to deploy data science solutions into production and ensure consistent delivery toward commitments.
- Engage with subject matter experts to identify emerging customer needs and develop innovative data-driven solutions to address them.
- Understand and comply with legal, ethical, and regulatory considerations in both data science delivery and in the wider business context.
- Provide thought leadership on technological advances in AI and advanced analytics and their applications to the Payment integrity business.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models into production, employing state-of-the-art techniques and libraries.

Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.
- Track record of leading complex data science projects with a cross-functional team and develop and deploy machine learning models in production environments.
- Ability to proactively identify and prioritize high-impact data science projects aligned with business objectives.
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with collaborating partners and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity and uncertainty.
- Advanced degree in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with healthcare data (claims, authorization, provider contracts, etc.).
- Natural curiosity to learn more, dig into details, and understand the key drivers of emerging trends and challenges.
