Machine Learning Engineer for Payment Integrity Decision Intelligence

Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models into production, employing state-of-the-art techniques and libraries, adhering to established processes for transitioning from development to production environments.

About the Role

  • Build and maintain relationships with the wider PIDI cross-functional team to deploy data science solutions into production and ensure consistent delivery toward commitments.
  • Engage with subject matter experts to identify emerging customer needs and develop innovative data-driven solutions to address them.
  • Understand and comply with legal, ethical, and regulatory considerations in both data science delivery and in the wider business context.
  • Provide thought leadership on technological advances in AI and advanced analytics and their applications to the Payment integrity business.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models into production, employing state-of-the-art techniques and libraries.

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.
  • Track record of leading complex data science projects with a cross-functional team and develop and deploy machine learning models in production environments.
  • Ability to proactively identify and prioritize high-impact data science projects aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with collaborating partners and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Advanced degree in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Statistics, or related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with healthcare data (claims, authorization, provider contracts, etc.).
  • Natural curiosity to learn more, dig into details, and understand the key drivers of emerging trends and challenges.
