Job Description
Seeking a Chartered Electrical Engineer with experience in critical systems and data centres to lead electrical design solutions on large-scale projects.
Our Critical Systems team plays a key role in making mission critical buildings more energy efficient, sustainable and cost effective to operate. We work closely with clients to develop, improve and deploy their standard 'template' designs across the world, influencing the future of data centre design. We also work on bespoke data centre projects.
As a Principal Electrical Critical Systems Engineer, you will collaborate within our critical systems team and work closely with colleagues of various disciplines to drive and manage the delivery of technically excellent and profitable projects. You will be involved in the design process, managing your immediate team of engineers, monitoring budgets and programme, and communicating with the wider project and client team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing small to medium-scale projects and small teams of engineers to deliver to, and exceed, client expectations.
- Producing electrical designs, including schematic diagrams, layouts, calculations, preparing specifications and project reports.
- Carrying out site inspections and surveys, detail design development, and contributing to project meetings.
