Job Summary
Lead technical innovation in automation and technology for a global medical device manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement automation and digitalisation strategies for manufacturing processes.
- Drive cultural innovation through research of new technologies and industry best practices.
- Provide technical leadership for engineers and contribute to the development of business intelligence tools.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and lead initiatives in standardisation of digital tools and automated equipment.
Requirements
- Level 8 degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 8 years experience in manufacturing environment with expertise in software development, control systems, and scripting programming languages.
- Strong working knowledge of Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Ignition control systems, as well as visualisation tools like Power BI.
- Experience with Object Orientated Programming/Functional, SQL, and data curation.
- Good knowledge of GMP, FDA, and BSI regulatory requirements and current Health and Safety Regulations and legislation.
