Job Description
Product Owner sought to lead the development and delivery of innovative technology solutions for large-scale projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT product ownership, with experience in agile development and a proven track record of driving business objectives. They will be responsible for working with project sponsors and business leaders to understand and prioritize business objectives, defining product roadmaps, and driving stakeholder processes to ensure consistent understanding of features and capabilities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with user experience, product marketing, and business/IT partners to ensure successful release and adoption of features and capabilities
- Performing market research, defining initial scope, and leading brainstorming sessions
- Structuring and performing appropriate market research, including industry research, user interviews, surveys, data analysis, and competitor analysis
- Defining and prioritizing business objectives and measures aligned with product or service development
- Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful launch, marketing, and adoption of features and capabilities
Qualifications include:
- Four or more years of professional experience working in an IT product-owner role
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business management or technical field
- Agile development practitioner with strong experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Solid persuasion and negotiation skills, with ability to align people around a common purpose and goal
- Solid communication skills, with ability to produce material that is complete, concise, and easy to understand
- Strong problem-solving and systems thinking skills, with ability to break low-to-medium complexity problems into logic parts
