Job Summary: Lead a team focused on security-related engineering work, researching and productizing new security technologies for Red Hat's solution portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document Red Hat's long-term security technology strategy.
Promote alignment on the security technology strategy through working with product management and product engineering.
Advance, refine, and inform the security technology strategy by incubating engineering projects within your own team.
Increase external visibility of the portfolio view for Red Hat Security by meeting with customers, partners, press, and analysts.
Identify upstream communities germane to the success of the Red Hat Security strategy to ensure they have appropriate vitality and level of participation.
Work with engineering, legal, security, communications, product, and recruiting teams to turn security-related contributions into powerful stories.
About the Role:
Red Hat is seeking a Principal Security Engineering Lead to lead a new team focused on security-related engineering work. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise software development, leadership experience with globally distributed engineering teams, and experience with security-related engineering and design.
