Job Description: We are a global quantitative trading firm with an office in Dublin City Centre. As a Principal Engineer, you will work on all facets of the trading systems, from front-end trading apps to order routing and exchange interfaces. This role requires a strong track record of design, build, and delivery, as well as evidence of creative architectural thinking and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- 8+ years of backend development work in.NET/C#; Python is a plus.
- Strong and creative architectural thinking.
- Pragmatic approach to problem-solving and solution delivery.
- Experience working in a highly collaborative environment.
- Ability to focus on customer/business needs.
- Comfortable with continuous switching of priorities in a fast-moving production environment.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Azure.
- Leadership potential, with patience and common sense under pressure.
