Microsoft is seeking a leader to manage the Release and Delivery Experience (RDX) team in Dublin, responsible for delivering high-quality M365 software to customers worldwide.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in people management, and a proven track record of driving innovation and collaboration.
Job Description
As a member of the RDX team, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a diverse and inclusive team of engineers to deliver high-quality M365 software to customers worldwide.
- Fostering collaboration with key stakeholders to gather user requirements and drive team alignment.
- Identifying dependencies and orchestrating the development of comprehensive design documents for products, applications, services, or platforms.
- Championing code excellence, optimizing, debugging, refactoring, and reusing code to boost performance and maintainability.
- Strategically guiding the team in managing multiple project plans, release plans, and work items to ensure seamless coordination with stakeholders.
The successful candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
- Technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- People management experience leading high-performing engineering teams.
- Ability to meet Microsoft's security screening requirements.
Preferred qualifications include:
- A Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Software engineering experience including building large-scale web applications.
- Experience creating high-quality, customer-focused products.
- Demonstrated success in bringing people together across teams to collaborate on innovative solutions.
