We're looking for a leader who exhibits relentless curiosity, a focus on crafting superior customer experiences, and a talent for nurturing cross-team collaboration. Your role will involve directing a team of 8-10 engineers, shaping our technical trajectory and architecture, and synergizing with teams across Microsoft. Bring your passion, your curiosity, and your bold ideas—we can't wait to see where we'll go together!QualificationsQualifications We need someone who: Is passionate about improving customer experiences Drives constant improvement in how we work Enjoys exploring data to understand problems Has demonstrated experience with hiring, mentoring, and growing strong talent Desires to constantly learn and grow Sets strategic technical direction, including design and architecture Required Qualifications A proven track record of technical leadership and experience in shipping high quality products or services Cross-group collaboration, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, be self-directed, and work well with other people Experience of Java, C#, C++, or equivalent experience Strong knowledge of design patterns and good software development practices BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related degree Preferred Qualifications Experience with TypeScript, Redux, JavaScript Expertise in one or more web application dev frameworks like React, Angular, etc Experience with one or more cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, etc.) Experience with Data Science and ML is a huge plus Prior experience building and managing an engineering team Experience working with distributed teams across multiple geos Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
