All we’re missing is you!Location: Cork, Ireland (hybrid)Overview:This position is a test role focused on the new generation Endpoint products within Forcepoint. This is a great opportunity to work with a strong technical team from an automation perspective. In this role you will develop test strategies, execute end-to-end customer-driven test cases, build networks, develop test automation scripts and work closely with a global development team to deliver high-quality products. We are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious, independent hard worker who wants to be part of a winning team.Responsibilities:Work as a leader in the building and maintaining of the Endpoint platform automation frameworkDevelop test plans, test cases, and test automation for Forcepoint’s endpoint platform architectureWork directly with software engineers both locally and globally to ensure product quality objectives are achievedAct as a leader and mentor for engineering staff and work with team management to implement career development through engineering assignments.Collaborate across site boundaries to share test practices with low-level and system test engineersConfigures workstations, operating environments, and the system under test, as needed to complete assigned testingSetup and maintain test labs for various projectsPerform other duties and projects as assignedWork closely with a globally distributed group of stakeholders and remote development teams to ensure that all endpoint consumers get high-quality components on schedule.Implement security software automation to a high standard and be a champion for architectural quality integrity.Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience10+ years of experience in software automation testing or equivalentExperience of leading test projects and the mentoring of junior testersExtensive experience with Python suitable for test automation developmentExperience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory.Experience with Robot FrameworkStrong background and experience in software testing methodology, testing processes, test development, and test executionExperience testing APIs and Web ServicesStrong knowledge of desktop applications within platforms such as Windows, Mac and Linux.Experience with testing tools and methodologies including automation frameworks, large data, performance and scalabilityOSI layer knowledge to support triage on various layers and protocolsExposure to virtualization and containerization.Soft Skills:Experience of leading test teams from a technical viewpoint.Ability to influence both the internal and external teamsSelf-motivated to research new skills and technologiesDesire to develop talent and mentor junior engineers.Experience working in a cross-functional organization with distributed teams.Strong communication (written and oral) and teamwork ethic within a diverse team environment.Commitment to the broader range of product development goals (teamwork at scale)Preferred Skills:Good understanding of setting up automation test infrastructures and frameworksKnowledge of endpoint, network and data security highly desiredExperience with test automation and CI/CDExposure to virtualization and containerization.Previous experience working in an Agile/SCRUMPrevious testing experience within the security industry #J-18808-Ljbffr
