System Test TechnicianAbout the CompanyThis is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing facility in Cork. This client is a world leader in their Industry, developing cutting edge products for a wide variety of applications.About the PositionMy client has multiple opportunities for Systems/Electronic Test Technicians to join their team in Cork. The role reports to the Systems Production Supervisor, will support normal production activities as required.Key ResponsibilitiesUse schematics, layout drawings, assembly drawings, procedures and specifications to set up and test Moog products.Use a variety of test equipment such as Digital Multi-Meter’s, Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, ESS Chambers and vibration tables for test and troubleshooting.Strong knowledge of electronics components and circuitry, (analogue, digital, power) to test and debug a variety of Electronic PCB Assemblies and Systems consisting of passive components to FPGA’s and microprocessors.Test and debug of electronic motor controllers according to established procedures.Perform failure analysis for production and returned assemblies and systems and provide feedback to support teams for process improvements.Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions.Assist in Technician Training, knowledge sharing and Product familiarisation.Completion of all necessary test related documentation including yield reporting and non-conformance Data.
