Private Assets Fund Controller Senior Manager Investment Manager Job In Dublin

Seeking a Private Assets Fund Controller Senior Manager to lead fund accounting and financial reporting processes for a newly created fund, with a strong background in open-end funds and private asset investments.

The role involves overseeing the fund administrator, preparing and reviewing public and regulatory filings, maintaining expense processing and budgets, and liaising with internal teams to manage and review the fund administrator's output deliverables.

The successful candidate will have at least 8+ years of relevant financial experience, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, and an accounting qualification.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the fund accounting and financial reporting processes for the newly created fund.
• Conduct the company's internal oversight of the fund administrator.
• Prepare and review public and regulatory filings with the fund's administrator.
• Maintain and oversee expense processing and budgets for the fund.
• Liaise with internal teams to manage and review the fund administrator's output deliverables.
• Assist with internal quarterly reporting of funds' asset and revenue figures.
• Assist with the resolution of all investor queries and reporting templates.
• Provide oversight on fund admin's work mandate, SLAs, performance metrics, schedules, etc.
• Assist with the funds' annual audits, coordinating with the fund administrator and external auditors.

Requirements:

• At least 8+ years of relevant financial experience.
• Experience with open-end funds and private asset investments.
• MiFID/AIFM management company experience or private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or public accounting experience.
• Experience with global funds with multi-jurisdictional structures, multiple currencies, and complex cash management is also advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Accounting qualification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels, with both internal and external parties.
