Job Description
Process Automation Engineer for Pharmaceutical Greenfield Site Project in Tralee, Kerry. 2-year contract with possibility of long-term role.
Reliable and robust system design to meet business and process requirements for a Process Control System (DCS and PLC/SCADA) and vendor packaged equipment including integration to both upstream and downstream systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implementation of DCS and PLC/SCADA platforms
- Coordination of Design team and Process Control System Vendor to achieve successful implementation of the Process Control System
- Creation, review, and approval of Automation/OT aspects of project deliverables
- Support Qualification and Validation activities
- Development of site procedures for the administration and maintenance of all relevant systems
Requirements:
- Minimum of bachelor's in engineering, Information Systems or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the life sciences industry
- Strong team player, working in a cross-functional team
- CQV and full SDLC experience
- Excellent understanding of ISA-95, ISA-88 standards
- Experience in OT Networks Design, Configuration and Testing
- Experience in L2 – L3 System Integration Projects
