Abbott is a global healthcare leader seeking a Process Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive efficiency and quality in our Cootehill facility.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Food Process Engineering or a related field and 5+ years of experience in a dairy/food process engineering role.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Planning and scheduling work to meet plant demand and available manpower
- Ensuring compliance with global standards, GMP, and environmental requirements
- Reducing product costs through process improvements
- Driving a culture of continuous improvement through root cause analysis and problem-solving
- Ensuring employee safety and adherence to SOPs
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of food process engineering principles, experience with evaporators and spray dryers, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
