Job Description

Process Control Engineer responsible for maintaining and supporting process control network and infrastructure to meet or exceed standards West Rock is a global leader in sustainable paper and packaging solutions. We use leading science and technology to innovate and improve fiber-based packaging. The Process Control Engineer is a key role in maintaining and supporting every aspect of the mill's process control network and infrastructure. This includes: * Design, implement, and support process control projects for Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's), and custom control applications * Evaluate and manage processes and equipment operation to meet or exceed standards * Maintain and troubleshoot all hardware associated with the DCS, including computers, servers, switches, process controllers, and process I/O * Execute programming and software changes to support new and existing control systems or components of a process * Support other departments to address needs that arise during daily operations * Collaborate with various departments to improve DCS control strategies, interlocks, alarms, and graphics for safety of workers, safety of equipment, and maximum uptime **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field * 5+ years of experience in process control with supervisory experience * Advanced computer and IT/networking skills * Knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems * Ability to read documentation and diagrams related to various hardware, software, and wiring **Key Skills:** * Process-oriented thinking and problem-solving * Collaboration and communication skills * Ability to adapt to changing demands and processes * Time management and prioritization skills * Experience working in a 24/7 call environment * Knowledge of Foxboro and Honeywell systems West Rock is an equal opportunity employer.
