Job Description

Summary: Our client, a biopharmaceutical company located in North Dublin, is seeking a Process Data Scientist . The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the digital transformation of process data within Operations. The successful candidate will partner with Manufacturing Systems and IT to enhance process understanding and enable rapid, intelligent, and proactive data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities: Collaborate with Process SMEs (Tech Services), Manufacturing Systems, IT, and Data Architect/Developers to design, build, maintain, and upgrade enterprise data assets and models (e.g., Discoverant Hierarchies, SIMCA Online models). Translate Process SMEs' requirements into directives for Data Architect/Developers to create and enhance enterprise data assets and models. Support and drive the development of business processes and procedures to manage the lifecycle of implemented software and data entry. Oversee the Change Control process for the introduction of Hierarchies. Manage the lifecycle of released Hierarchies/models, including process coordination for relevant changes. Assist other members of the team with process and product data analysis and statistical assessments as needed. Work with Process leadership team, Manufacturing Systems, and IT to introduce new technologies and enhance Process and Product Data Analytics Capabilities (e.g., advanced dashboarding, AI). Support leadership team in establishing a data analytics culture across Technical Operations and Operations through training sessions, workshops, and demonstrations. Building and maintenance of data analytics solutions and software (Discoverant and SIMCA) in line with user and compliance requirements and project timelines. Coordination and delivery of training to end users for implemented data analytics solutions and software. Participation in strategic data analytics initiatives and projects, providing support where needed. Supporting the user community with data analytics solutions/software queries. Aiding in the evolution of the data analytics and digital roadmap. Promotion of a data analytics culture by facilitating trainings, sharing best practices, and encouraging the use of implemented solutions. Qualifications & Experience: Degree in relevant area. 2+ years of experience in designing, building, maintaining, and upgrading data assets and models (preferably with Discoverant Hierarchies). Technical background in biologic manufacturing. Experience in Process Monitoring/SPC, Multivariate analysis, Statistical analysis, and Change Management. Development and end-user experience with Data Analytics Software (e.g., Discoverant, Statistica), Multivariate Analysis tools (e.g., SIMCA, SIMCA-Online), and other data analytics platforms (Dataiku, R, Python). Proficiency in JMP/Minitab statistical software, including control charting, process capability analysis (Cpk & Ppk), ANOVA analysis, and regression analysis. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Previous experience as a Process Technical SME is preferred. Knowledge of coding languages and databases is preferred. Knowledge of Drug Substance and/or Drug Product manufacturing. Skills: Data extraction Business Intelligence Tools Discoverant
