SK biotek Ireland is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team on a permanent contract.

The Swords Campus has led the way in the development, scale-up and commercial manufacture of Active Pharmaceuticals Ingredients (APIs), Highly Potent Active Pharmaceuticals Ingredients and Chemical Intermediates for almost 60 years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure manufacturing schedules and volumes are met in a consistent and timely manner.
- Support NPI (scale up, technical transfer and commercialization of new compounds) in the manufacturing facilities.
- Involvement with Op Ex, simplification initiatives and projects.
- Ensure manufacturing facilities are operated in a manner that meets all current Good Manufacturing Process and environmental standards.
Requirements:
- Primary degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry or a related science degree.
- 5+ yrs experience in NPI and/or tech transfer desirable.
- Experience with new technology introduction would be an advantage.
- Operational Excellence certification (yellow, green, black belt) would be an advantage.
Desirable requirements:
- Sound awareness and understanding of pharmaceutical business with API experience.
- Ability to operate efficiently in a complex matrix organisation and international environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with well-structured communication and presentation ability to various audience levels.
- Thorough, diligent, good attention to detail.
