Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Process Engineer to join our team in West Clare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and productivity through the implementation of lean and six sigma principles, as well as managing projects within a World Class Manufacturing (WCM) program.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand and apply principles of lean and six sigma to drive business growth and productivity.

Manage projects within a World Class Manufacturing (WCM) program to achieve business goals and objectives.

Implement suitable product and process changes to satisfy customer requirements and quality management system (QMS) standards.

Perform root cause analysis with process and test data to implement sustainable corrective actions.
-
Understand risk management and the process-based approach to quality and drive continuous improvements.

Respond to manufacturing problems in a timely manner to maintain and support production.
-
Support and coordinate the implementation of capital investment programs.

Ensure site compliance to customer requirements and ISO 9001, Food Safety, and Automotive standards.

Provide technical support on processing and process capabilities to customer service, sales, and quality assurance.

Support the implementation and upgrade of Manufacturing 4.0 into the facility.
Qualifications and Skills:
-
Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Industrial Chemistry.

High level of PC skills (MS Package, Minitab, etc.).

Knowledge of p FMEA, 8 D, DMAIC, and Kaizen processes.

Self-motivated and able to make independent decisions.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Experience in auditing internally and externally.

Knowledge and experience with IATF core tools.
