We're recruiting for a Process Development and Optimization Specialist position at an award-winning Medical Device organization based in Limerick. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about leading process improvements and working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: * **Develop and execute plans to continuously improve and optimize product quality and process yield** * Use process characterization and optimization techniques, such as designed experiments, to identify and solve problems * Implement process-related continuous improvement activities to improve product quality and increase efficiency * Ensure that all process developments and improvements meet the company's Quality Management System requirements * Lead and motivate the team to achieve process improvements * Identify and implement process-related corrective actions to address quality, technical, and manufacturing issues * Develop and maintain behaviour standards in line with company policy * Participate in risk assessments and HAZOPs of manufacturing processes and equipment * Keep up to date with new developments and technologies in assigned disciplines and present on new best practices to the company Requirements: * Primary Degree (Level 8) in Process, Production, Manufacturing, Polymer, Materials, Biomedical or Mechanical engineering * Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar role * Relevant experience with statistical process control and capability analysis required * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail * Familiarity with manufacturing and validation in a regulated environment an advantage * Achievement of Six Sigma/Green Belt/Black Belt accreditation would be a distinct advantage.
