The SK biotek Ireland HR team are looking for a Process Engineer on a permanent contract. This is a day role supporting a 24/7/365 world-class manufacturing organisation.
The Process Engineer will be responsible for the manufacture of APIs and Intermediates, including the technical transfer and validation of new chemical processes.
Essential Responsibilities- As a Process Engineer you will ensure that manufacturing schedules and volumes are met in a consistent and timely manner.
- Support for NPI (scale up, technical transfer and commercialisation of new compounds in the manufacturing facilities.
- Involvement with OpEx, simplification initiatives and projects.
- Ensuring that the manufacturing facilities are operated in a manner that meets all current Good Manufacturing Process and environmental standards.
- Process Engineer should have a primary degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry or a related science degree.
- 5+ yrs experience in NPI and/or tech transfer desirable.
- Experience with new technology introduction would be an advantage.
- An Operational Excellence certification (yellow, green, black belt) would be an advantage.
- Sound awareness and understanding of pharmaceutical business with API experience.
- Ability to operate efficiently in a complex matrix organisation and international environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with well-structured communication and presentation ability to various audience levels.
- Thorough, diligent, good attention to detail.
