Job Description
A Process Equipment Engineer supports manufacturing activities at a cutting-edge vaccines facility, assisting with site start-up, vendor management, and automation testing. Key responsibilities include reviewing vendor documentation, participating in FAT and commissioning activities, and ensuring equipment meets process requirements. The engineer will also implement CAPAs, provide technical support, and identify improvement projects.
Key qualifications include a minimum of 5 years' experience in large-scale biopharmaceutical manufacturing, knowledge of Delta V MCS platform, and familiarity with bioreactor, chromatography, and ultrafiltration operations. A third-level qualification in a science or engineering subject is also required.
The engineer will be responsible for providing engineering support, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities, as well as implementing global requirement program tools and techniques. They will also support the use of PI to provide business efficiency and identify equipment, process, and automation improvement projects.
The successful candidate will be flexible, willing to take on additional tasks and responsibilities, and adhere to GMP requirements and SOPs. They will also act as a role model for the manufacturing function and wider organization in adherence to the client's corporate core values and PROUD culture.
