Job Description
Process Safety Engineer Job Summary: Chair and document process and equipment Hazop assessments, oversee new product introductions, and ensure process safety elements are managed effectively.
Main Areas of Responsibility:
- Support process safety management system as per COMAH Safety Report
- Propose, develop and implement process safety improvements
- Ensure compliance with site, corporate and industrial standards
- Trouble shoot process safety issues
- Review and approve process safety documentation
- Provide relevant training to colleagues
- Support safety investigations and conduct safety audits
Qualifications: Honours degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related discipline, 3-4 years relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry, and experience in process safety subject matters.
