Job Description

Our client, an established manufacturing company inWestmeath, is seeking a Process Technician to join their team. As a Process Technician, you will work as part of the Engineering team and play a key role in various stages of the manufacturing process, with a focus on machine and mould validation, new product introduction, and continuous improvement efforts. This is a full-time permanent position, 8am-4:30pm Mon- Fri. Key responsibilities: Validates new moulds, machines, and equipment; optimizes processes and maintains Process Control Records Ensures processes run to a validated state Assist in the development of new work instructions and forms to support validation activities Ensures that work is carried out in compliance with company manufacturing procedures and Work Instructions Resolves technical product and process issues Works closely with toolroom and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues. Works on continuous improvement and lean manufacturing projects Requirements: Minimum diploma level in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering or similar Previous experience as moulding/process technician in a plastics moulding company is desired Understanding & experience of running Design of Experiments Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills For a confidential discussion about this opportunity please contact Ranait Coughlan Skills: Polymer Injection Moulding Hydraulics Pneumatics
