Job Description

Squarespace is looking for a Procurement Lead (indirect) to join our growing procurement team within our Finance Department. You will help build and lead the sourcing and procurement function, as well as champion our procurement systems. You will contribute to all aspects of procurement including improving/refining procurement policies and processes, supporting the business with all procurement related activities, and partnering with all relevant stakeholders to identify sourcing opportunities, engaging vendors in pricing and contract negotiations and drive overall value for the organization.You will report to the Senior Manager of Procurement and be based in New York. This role is considered a hybrid role and is expected to be onsite 2-3 days per week.You'll Get To…Oversee and help to drive adoption of the end-to-end procurement process; Develop standard operating procedures and training documentation to be used both internally within the procurement team and externally for our internal business partners;Manage the procurement service desk and guide users through the procurement process via one-on-one training sessions and/or via facilitation of group training sessions;Champion and act as a subject matter expert for our procurement tools including P2P, intake and sourcing and ensure users are trained and efficiently utilizing these tools across the organization;Partner with Finance/Accounting/Legal/Business units to identify opportunities for improvement and execute strategies that will drive value and create efficiencies across the procurement function;Establish and report out on KPI metrics; Negotiate commercial terms of vendor agreements, particularly IT-related agreements;Support Accounts Payable team with daily operations and work collaboratively to identify process improvement opportunities;Assist with internal and external reporting requirements.Who We're Looking For7+ years of combined indirect procurement experienceBachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance or similarExperience with Netsuite, Ironclad, and Coupa system a huge plusYou love to work collaboratively to solve ambiguous problemsAutonomous, with a commitment to accuracy, integrity, and attention to detailBenefits & PerksA choice between medical plans with an option for 100% covered premiumsFertility and adoption benefitsAccess to supplemental insurance plans for additional coverageHeadspace mindfulness app subscriptionRetirement benefits with employer matchFlexible paid time offUp to 20 weeks of paid family leaveEquity plan for all employeesPretax commuter benefitEducation reimbursementEmployee donation match to community organizations6 Global Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)Dog-friendly workplaceFree lunch and snacksPrivate rooftopCash Compensation Range: $126,500 – $203,550 USDThe base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.
