Procurement Lead (Indirect) Summary
A seasoned procurement professional to lead and build the sourcing and procurement function, championing procurement systems and driving value for the organization.
About the Role
We're seeking a highly experienced and skilled Procurement Lead (Indirect) to join our Finance Department. As a key member of our growing procurement team, you will oversee and help drive the adoption of the end-to-end procurement process, develop standard operating procedures, and train users on procurement tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement policies and processes, improving and refining them as needed.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify sourcing opportunities, negotiate commercial terms, and drive value for the organization.
- Manage the procurement service desk, guiding users through the procurement process and training them on procurement tools.
- Champion and act as a subject matter expert for procurement tools, ensuring users are trained and efficiently utilizing these tools.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Business units to identify opportunities for improvement and execute strategies to drive value and create efficiencies across the procurement function.
- Establish and report on KPI metrics.
- Negotiate commercial terms of vendor agreements, particularly IT-related agreements.
- Support Accounts Payable team with daily operations and identify process improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of combined indirect procurement experience.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or similar.
- Experience with Netsuite, Ironclad, and Coupa systems (a huge plus).
- Autonomous, with a commitment to accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
