Key Responsibilities:

• Manage category spend and performance, developing category plans and long-term values.


• Implement business improvements through optimizing commercial, design and process levers that minimize Total Cost of Ownership.


• Manage RFP process end-to-end for BT's Engineering Field Services category.


• Lead on risk assessment of category strategy and sourcing activities.


• Negotiate commercial and contractual terms with key suppliers.


• Build and maintain category knowledge, applying best practices around sourcing approach, supplier selection, and negotiation tactics.

• Result-oriented, ambitious, and passionate with attention to detail.


• Experience of delivering against targets as a Category Manager/Procurement Manager.


• Good business expertise in category management, particularly around supplier capabilities and commercial models.


• Ability to manage complex, strategic, and commercial requirements between BT and suppliers.
