Job Description

Morgan McKinley are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join a growing team in Dublin.


In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process from start to finish, ensuring that the company receives the best value for goods and services.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to identify cost-saving opportunities, negotiate contracts, and enhance vendor relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement activities for a variety of direct and indirect categories across technology, facilities and services.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Identify and evaluate new and existing suppliers, driving continuous improvements in cost, quality, and service.
  • Support the preparation and analysis of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and vendor contracts.
  • Develop and maintain procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and vendor agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures throughout the sourcing process.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and performance metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement with strong negotiation skills and ability to handle a variety of vendor agreements.
  • Experience with procurement systems, such as Oracle or similar platforms.
  • Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
