MACOM will not discriminate against any worker or job applicant on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, ancestry, age, sexual orientation, marital or civil partnership status, pregnancy, disability, genetic information, veteran status, military obligations, or membership in any other category protected under applicable law.Job Description:Responsible for the release of new and innovative IC based products into high volume production.Lead and participate in technical design reviews to help improve the manufacturability and testability of products under development.Improve the yields and profitability of existing products.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Interface with design groups on new product introduction and design for manufacturability.Develop production test plans to verify product performance and perform analysis of data using sound statistical methodology in order to set test limits and datasheet specifications.Continuously improve manufacturing test processes.Support testing in lab for new designs.Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure engineering and production targets are achieved.Monitor and investigate yield issues arising at any stage in the manufacturing and testing process.Support reliability team in new product qualification and failure analysis.Ensure all aspects of product manufacturing, including hardware, documentation, BOMs and costing are in place for the production release of a product.Significant exposure to and knowledge of RF and microwave components.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Knowledge of statistical data analysis tools (e.g. Minitab, JMP etc.).Good planning and organisational skills.Good interpersonal and communications skills.In-depth understanding of statistics.Ability and desire to learn new technologies.Demonstrated ability to work on cross functional teams.Familiar with RF testing and troubleshooting.Proficiency in spoken and written English.Knowledge of SAP is desirable but not essential.Willingness to travel occasionally.Minimum Qualifications:Advanced degree in a science or engineering discipline.Five or more years of relevant work experience such as Semiconductor based product engineering/development, RF testing or characterisation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
