Your tasks and responsibilities:

1. Deliver technical support to the manufacturing and testing of medical device instrumentation in a low volume, high complexity and regulated environment.
2. Deliver technical solutions to enhance product reliability and process capability.
3. Work within a dynamic engineering change environment; actively supporting New Product Introductions and engineering design change activities.
4. Work with R&D, manufacturing operations, quality, procurement and logistics to deliver product and supply base improvements to meet business needs.
5. Initiate and project manage product and process change activities, technology transfers while assuring continuity of supply.

Your qualifications and experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (QQI level 8) with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience. Consideration will also be given to individuals with alternative degrees if balanced by relevant technical experience.
2. Structured analysis skills with experience in complex technical troubleshooting.
3. Strong manufacturing, mechanical/ electro-mechanical / systems design skillset.
4. Knowledge or experience with programming languages LabVIEW and Python (C, C++ and C# are a plus).
5. Experience with Test method characterization and Test method validation; Supported by statistical knowledge.
