Your Role and Responsibilities
• Define and drive the product roadmap with a focus on improving and expanding capabilities to meet current and future customer needs.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to inform product strategy.
• Identify, prioritize, write, and maintain product requirements that clearly define features, functionality, and metrics for success.
• Lead Agile practices to progress committed plans from design through delivery.
• Plan, package, and launch capabilities into the market to drive towards strategic goals.
• Work directly with customers and business partners to promote product capabilities, understand pain points, discuss enhancement requests, and engage various disciplines to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate effectively with other product managers and members of cross-functional teams including Design, Development, Support, Sales, Services and Business Partners.
Introduction
We are seeking a skilled, results-driven Product Manager. You will work with cross-functional teams to grow IBM's Integration portfolio with differentiated and competitive products. In this role you are an energetic self-starter and creative problem solver.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in each of the following:
• Product management, product development, or other customer-facing roles.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
• Experience working directly with customers.
• Interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between technical and business focuses.
• Experience writing detailed requirements.
• Effective problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to self-manage, prioritize, and move forward in the face of ambiguity.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Growth mindset.
- Confident and engaging public speaker.
- Experience performing competitive and Win/Loss analysis.
- Experience with agile development practices and tools such as Aha and GitHub.
- Experience with SaaS, Application Integration, iPaaS, B2B Integration, APIs.
