Job Description

We are seeking a Product Manager to drive the end-to-end lifecycle management of cutting-edge products in a fast-paced, flexible environment.

The Product Manager will work cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, sales, design, and other departments to develop and execute strategic and tactical plans. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining expert understanding of Cubic's products and solutions, as well as the underlying technologies in IT and wireless domains.
  • Serving as an internal and external product consultant, educating stakeholders and clients on Cubic's offerings and advocating for their adoption.
  • Collaborating with global cross-functional teams to deliver programs that meet the needs of customers and enable business growth.
  • Ensuring product strategy is informed through customer and market awareness, developing deep insights into customers' goals, challenges, and roadmaps.
  • Partnering with finance, sales, and engineering to develop robust business cases to support investment in products.
  • Continuously evaluating the success metrics and performance of programs to ensure they are realizing financial and non-financial outcomes.
  • Partnering with key stakeholders in marketing, sales, finance, and operations to ensure there are robust go-to-market strategies in place for the successful launch and ongoing success of products.

The ideal candidate will be customer-obsessed, data-driven, entrepreneurial, and outcomes-focused, with a strong technical background and ability to build strong relationships with customers and cross-functional teams.

Basic qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of experience in product management, solution engineering, or solution consulting, preferably within a SaaS organization.
  • Experience working directly with customers in enterprise-scale organizations on customer-facing products.
  • Experience working with engineering and solution architects to support the definition of system specifications based on client requirements.
  • Strong technical background to enable understanding of Cubic's technology domains and customer product and technology domains.
  • Proven ability to listen effectively, ask the right questions, and champion the voice of the customer.
  • Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to generalize customer requirements into product requirements.
  • Self-driven, highly motivated, and able to learn quickly in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.

Preferred qualifications include experience or knowledge in data management and analytics methodologies, microservice architecture and cloud-native technologies, IoT technology stack, wireless networks (GSM, LTE, 5G).
