Job Description
We are seeking a Product Manager to lead our product development programme, accelerating growth in the agricultural trade sector in Ireland.
We are the leading supplier of agricultural components, spares and tines to the agricultural trade sector in Ireland, serving the Agri sector successfully for 50 years.
Product Manager
This role involves managing the sourcing of products from suppliers, preparing product specifications and bringing products to market, working closely with the purchasing department and sales and marketing team.
- Sourcing products as set out in the product development agenda.
- Preparing specifications for products and liaising with suppliers to ensure products are fit for purpose, supplied competitively and on time.
- Preparing commercial specifications in terms of pricing, packaging and presentation.
- Working closely with the purchasing department to assist in the delivery of product development projects.
- Training and briefing the sales team on new products.
Candidate Requirements
- Third level qualification in Business, Agribusiness, Agricultural Science, Mechanical or Ag Engineering.
- Knowledge and experience of farming and farm machinery.
- Keen interest in sales and marketing.
- Knowledge of modern IT reporting systems.
- Key skills: Organization, planning, attention to detail.
