2099197Job DescriptionSquad Leader / Product OwnerJoin as the Product Owner of a successful and highly motivated team driving real customer and business value! In this role, you will be the end-to-end gatekeeper of the Squad mission, strategy, and tactical execution associated with delivering priorities.You will collaborate with other Fidelity leaders to influence broader strategic decisions, roadmaps and resource requirements. You will also set and refine the mission and bring together a team to execute on specific product features. You will be a key driver in helping to develop and enhance the Platform components to help us evolve our business in a competitive market environment! You will ensure alignment on the 'what' and 'when' work is to be performed through ongoing planning and prioritization of a product backlog. You will enable squad members to work iteratively, innovate through testing and experimentation and learn from failures while celebrating success. You are committed to developing your own expertise and knowledge to ensure you bring the latest thinking to your role!Expertise and Skills You BringBachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field.MBA or Masters is a plus.6+ years of experience in delivering technology solutions.2+ years of experience leading an agile development team.Experience working in the financial services and product experience is a plus.A data-focused approach to understanding customer needs, translate strategic objectives into action, and prioritize to improve value delivered.Ability to grasp sophisticated product features and break them into clear and concise stories with well-defined business value and acceptance criteria.A strong focus on execution and identify, communicate and remove impediments to progress.Comfort in leading, prioritizing, and empowering team members without formal management authority.Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships as you work collaboratively across Fidelity to deliver business outcomes and seek out the expertise of colleagues to advise on your approach.An analytical approach to decision making, both in the day-to-day management and in making strategic trade-offs.A platform mentality, building for scale and reuse across multiple experiences.The TeamYou will lead a team developing web solutions that power experiences. Your team will consist of developers and you will lead this team by managing the backlog of work, establishing and continuously evaluating priorities, and helping your team understand the business value and context of the solutions they build as well as removing blockers and obstacles. In this position, you will fill many different roles, including serving as a consultant to consumers to help them understand how to use the platform.You will consistently improve the platform's health and stability by continuously upgrading supporting technologies and monitoring. You will drive creation and continuous improvements of the platform to meet and exceed customer demand.
