Product Trainer Specialist

Workster partners with a "Top Workplace" tech business outsourcing company to hire a Product Trainer Specialist responsible for training resources on their product line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and create comprehensive training programs and materials that effectively cover product features, benefits, and usage.
  • Collaborate with client's product teams to ensure training materials are up-to-date with the latest product enhancements and changes.
  • Lead training sessions for new and existing employees, customers, and partners using various training methods, including in-person, virtual, and on-demand formats.
  • Conduct assessments to identify training needs among employees, customers, and partners and customize training programs to address specific needs and knowledge gaps.
  • Keep abreast of product updates, new features, and industry trends and ensure training materials and sessions reflect the latest product information.
  • Collaborate with product development and marketing teams during product launches and develop training programs to educate internal teams and customers about new products and features.
  • Offer ongoing support to trainees post-training to ensure they can effectively use and demo the product.
  • Tailor training content and delivery to suit different audiences, such as sales teams, technical support, and end-users.
  • Work with sales and marketing functions to support the creation of content for specific personas and industries centered around product value.
  • Serve as product subject matter expert with an acute understanding of the client's value proposition from both a technical and business perspective.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical training role.
  • Experience engaging with a training cohort remotely.
  • Experience with software vendor, IT Services, SaaS space or system integrator space preferred.
  • Developer experience an advantage.
  • Tech-savvy with an affinity for innovative and emerging technology.
  • Strong technical or technology product focused background with aptitude to understand.
  • Hands-on experience in technology and SaaS product demonstration and training and ability to provide real-world examples and insights.
  • Strong communication and presenting skills.
  • Ability to engage with and motivate sales professionals of all levels of experience and tenure.
  • Adaptable and dynamic.
  • Strong Analytical and Assessment Skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Strong communication skills supported by an energetic and engaging attitude.
  • Ability to be flexible and agile in responding to evolving business priorities and dealing with ambiguity.
