Job Description
Production Cell Lead sought for Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry role, responsible for driving output and fulfilling production functions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manufacturing batches in accordance with SOPs, including filling, capping, and sealing.
- Performing preventative maintenance on equipment and conducting equipment checks/calibration.
- Contributing to lean initiatives, including 6S, kaizen, Kanban, and lean.
- Managing waste streams and ensuring proper storage prior to disposal.
- Liaising with support staff on materials requirements.
- Ensuring health and safety standards are met and maintaining housekeeping and hygiene within the cell.
- Troubleshooting production issues and collaborating with QC and planning teams.
- Suggesting and implementing improvements to increase capacity and efficiency.
- Providing training and guidance to production operators and technicians.
- Participating in daily PIT meetings and contributing to cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in high-quality manufacturing environment.
- Detailed knowledge of batch chemical manufacturing, Good Laboratory Practice, ISO17025, ISO9001:2009, and Chemistry.
- 3rd level science qualification (minimum ordinary level degree).
- Team player with ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
