Job Description
**Production Cell Lead - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing** Production Cell Lead sought for a high quality manufacturing environment. 3+ years' experience in batch chemical manufacturing required. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manufacture batches in accordance with SOPs, including filling, capping, and sealing as required * Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and carry out equipment checks/calibration as per schedule * Contribute to lean initiatives, including 6S, kaizen, Kanban, and lean * Manage waste management and ensure proper storage and disposal of waste streams * Liaise with support staff on materials requirements and ensure timely delivery * Maintain health and safety standards, including housekeeping and hygiene within the cell * Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with colleagues on QC and planning to meet demand requirements * Suggest and implement improvements to increase capacity and efficiency * Train and guide production operators and technicians within the area * Participate in daily PIT meetings and contribute to cross-functional teams as required **Requirements:** * 3+ years' experience in a high quality manufacturing environment * Detailed knowledge and experience of batch chemical manufacturing, Good Laboratory Practice, ISO17025, ISO9001:2009, Chemistry * 3rd level science qualification (minimum ordinary level degree) is mandatory * Team player with ability to work on own initiative and prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment * Attention to detail and approachable with a level-headed approach to problem-solving **About KSGalway Gi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited** A group of companies including Gi Recruitment Limited, Draefern Limited, Gi Group Recruitment Ltd, INTOO (UK) Limited, Marks Sattin (UK) Limited, TACK TMI UK Limited, Grafton Professional Staffing Limited, Encore Personnel Services, Gi Group Ireland Limited, and Kelly Services (UK) Ltd.
