Job Description
Production Cell Lead required for high-quality manufacturing environment producing calibration standards, certified reference materials, and laboratory chemicals for precise measurement and analysis.
Our client, a leading manufacturer of scientific and industrial products, is seeking a Production Cell Lead to oversee the production of batches in accordance with their Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all health, safety, and environmental standards are met, while also troubleshooting production issues and working closely with colleagues on Quality Control and Planning.
- Manufacture of batches in accordance with SOPs, including filling, capping, and sealing where required.
- Ensure all health, safety, and environmental standards are complied with.
- Troubleshoot production issues and work closely with colleagues on QC and Planning.
- Train and guide production operators and technicians within the area.
- Suggest and implement improvements to increase capacity and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a high-quality manufacturing environment.
- Level 7/8 degree in a chemistry-related role with experience in Organic Chemistry.
- Experience with batch chemical manufacturing, chemistry, and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 and ISO 9001:2009.
- Ability to work on your own initiative.
- Attention to detail is key.
