SUMMARY OF ROLE: We are currently recruiting for a Production Chef for our Client based in Dublin 12. The company produces high-quality fresh food for customers, including hotels, restaurants, creches, industrial and event caterers, with consistency to their set menus and recipes. This is a Chef role in a production environment rather than a hotel kitchen/restaurant. This is a full-time position with the company, and the successful candidate will have an opportunity to progress within the company. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Working to organised pre-orders from customers, from 1 week to 3-day pre-ordering (menu items include a selection of burger sauces, cooked burrito meats, lasagne, cottage pies, chicken dishes, other meat dishes, fresh fruit salads and vegetable bouquets). Following HACCP procedures & completing required paperwork; Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations; Working to a high-quality NSAI standard (all training will be provided regarding NSAI requirements). ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Experienced in a similar role; Good team player & self-motivated; Excellent communication skills, good written & verbal English; High organisational skills, with regard to stock control, working on Excel spreadsheets; Focused on quality with attention to detail.
