Job Description

Production Control Scheduler role requires coordinating production schedules, managing order backlogs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

Job Description:

This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months. The Production Control Department contributes to increased levels of Customer Satisfaction and improved Operations Efficiency through focused Order Management methods, Cross Functional Order Issue Resolution, ATP Management, Capacity Analysis / Planning and Production Scheduling.

The Master Scheduler will be responsible for contributing to the success of the aforementioned areas of responsibility by providing support to the Production Control Manager. This position may require flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and own the facilitation of the cross-functional Backlog Review Meeting.
  • Lead and own the facilitation of the Production Back Log Meetings; learn process and execute real-time actions as required.
  • Manage holds and schedule orders.
  • Establish priority for work order's sequence in alignment with scheduled dates.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and production on order execution.
  • Follow up on scheduling exceptions to ensure commitments are met.
  • Adjust ATP rules to ensure orders are consistently scheduled according to material levels and capacity.
  • Follow up on aging orders to ensure prompt disposition.
  • Work with Production and appropriate Value Streams on order escalation, prioritization, and scheduling.
  • Act as liaison between sales, customer service, procurement, and fulfillment operations.

  • Ability to perform daily tasks without constant Management / Supervisory oversight.
  • Willingness to frequently communicate and collaborate across functional boundaries.

Education and Experience:

  • Degree in business management, supply chain management, or related fields.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, in particular Word and Excel.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP programs required.
  • Familiarity with Agile PLM is preferred.
  • University / College degree preferred.
