More about the role:The Production Engineer/Facility Operations Supervisor position is responsible for supporting the Plant manager in the daily management of all activities at the site. Although focused on supervising the plant production activities, the individual will be involved in monitoring all activities at the site including plant maintenance, production and admin. In this critical role, the individual will be responsible for providing Operational, Quality and EH&S Management Level Leadership at the site while ensuring that our daily activities are executed in the most efficient manner and in accordance with all safety, quality and service standards applicable within the Sub-Region Industrial Gases organisation.The areas of activity that the facility operations supervisor will be involved in are safety management, budget control, resource planning & human resources management as well as identifying and executing specific productivity programs. The incumbent is responsible for achieving best in class service levels at the lowest possible cost in the production.Key interfaces include the OSC operations team, plant maintenance team, central technical & EH&S teams, tactical planning, asset management team, customer services, scheduling and quality teams to ensure alignment on best practices and commonality of approach.
