**Job Summary:** Experienced Plant Manager sought for Longford site to lead production, safety, and quality initiatives, driving efficiency and growth in the timber-frame business. Glennon Brothers supplies both the UK and Irish markets with products for the construction, pallet wood, and fencing industries. **Job Description:** As a Plant Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Longford site, overseeing production, scheduling, logistics, health and safety, environment, quality, and maintenance. You will work closely with the DTE Management team, including the Design department and Site Installation teams, as well as with the Group Capital & Development team on site capital expenditure. **Key Responsibilities:** * Promote a safe working environment for employees * Develop and implement production plans to maximise return on investment * Monitor production performance against budget and drive efficiencies * Lead and support the people agenda at the plant, including recruitment, onboarding, development, and employee engagement * Establish regular production meetings to ensure delivery of the production plan * Form strong working relationships with Shift Managers and Supervisors * Contribute to the development of the capital investment strategy plan and the implementation of capital and NPD projects **Essential Skills and Experience:** * Qualification in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or related field * Minimum 5 years' experience in Plant or Site Management, preferably in Timber-frame or Modular building, Off-site Manufacturing * Knowledge and experience in promoting a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards * Strong organisation skills, attention to detail, and ability to lead by example * Ability to drive efficiency and growth in the business * Strong communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships **About the Company:** DTE Manufacturing is part of the Glennon Brothers Group, a leading timber processor in Ireland and the UK.
