Production Manager - Shannon Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for manufacturing excellence? A leading manufacturer and distributor of window blind and curtain systems is seeking a hands-on and experienced Production Manager to join a vibrant team in Shannon. This role offers the opportunity to oversee and drive the production process in a well-established, innovative company. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of approximately 10 skilled professionals in the production department. End-to-End Production Oversight: Manage the entire production process from order receipt to product shipment, including stock management, cutting, assembly, quality control, packaging, and distribution. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other department heads to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery of materials and products. Production Scheduling: Develop and implement efficient production schedules that optimise resource use while meeting customer deadlines. Continuous Improvement: Monitor and enhance production processes, striving for operational excellence and continuous improvement. Quality Control: Uphold and enforce high-quality control standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. Problem-Solving: Make quick, effective decisions in a fast-paced environment, proactively addressing challenges as they arise. Work Environment: Foster a positive, productive work environment that promotes teamwork and continuous development. What We're Looking For: Experience: Proven experience in production management, preferably in a manufacturing setting. Leadership Skills: Strong ability to motivate, guide, and manage a team. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to make effective decisions and solve problems in real-time. Planning & Scheduling: Experience in planning and scheduling with a focus on efficiency and quality. Quality Control: Familiarity with quality control processes and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience in the window blind or curtain manufacturing industry would be advantageous.
