Job Description
As a production team member, you will be responsible for assembling medical products on an assembly operation, performing a variety of tasks on a rotating basis.
**Job Summary:** Assemble medical products, perform quality inspections, and assist team leaders with product and machine change-overs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assemble medical products on an assembly operation, performing a variety of tasks on a rotating basis.
- Perform on-line and in-process visual inspection of products to ensure specifications are followed.
- Assist team leaders with product and machine change-overs.
- Ensure products meet quality standards.
- Reject products outside of specifications.
- Adhere to safety standards.
- Operate testing equipment for periodic product and process testing.
**Essential Physical/Environmental Demands:**
- Lifting: Not to exceed 50 lbs.
- Writing, sitting, standing, bending, visual acuity, color perception, depth perception, reading, field of vision/peripheral, fine motor skills, noise, chemical vapors, soldering fumes.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
- Demonstrate competencies and ability to rotate in a specific assembly line or work cell.
- Ability to perform a variety of assembly tasks requiring dexterity and fine motor skills.
- Ability to visually check work performed and identify whether a product has been assembled correctly.
- Ability to follow instructions in performing repetitive tasks.
- Attentiveness in performing tasks.
- Ability to work as a member of a team in assembling sterile medical products.
- Ability to meet line rate expectations.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Three months of experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Three to six months of longevity in the same company.
