Our client, a leading healthcare company, is seeking a skilled Production Planner to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to play a critical part in ensuring the smooth and efficient production processes of a growing and innovative company. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize production efficiency. Coordinate with various departments including procurement, manufacturing, and quality control to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials. Implement strategies to minimize excess inventory and reduce waste. Work closely with the procurement, logistics, and sales teams to align production plans with supply chain and market demand. Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. Communicate with suppliers and customers to manage expectations and resolve any issues related to production schedules. Prepare and present regular reports on production status, forecasts, and potential risks.. Key Requirements: 4+ years experience in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management within a GMP manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience with SAP is essential.
