Production Supervisor role for a global leader in medical technology, responsible for overseeing production teams and driving quality, cost, and delivery improvements.
The successful candidate will join a team shaping the future of healthcare, working on evening shifts. This role requires strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, as well as a deep understanding of the manufacturing process.
The Role
- Supervise production teams to achieve targets for quality, cost, delivery, and people.
- Ensure manufacturing volume requirements are met, on time and within budget.
- Manage employee performance, including coaching, counseling, and developing employees.
- Facilitate open communication and lead problem-solving initiatives.
- Develop operational plans and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Establish a work environment of continuous improvement and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Develop and implement training programs and administer duties such as metrics and time and attendance.
The Person
- Minimum of a level 7 in a Bachelor of Science/Engineering or relevant qualification.
- 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience in people management, team building, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with proven ability to deliver results in a cross-functional team environment.
- Proven experience and knowledge of process improvements and lean tools.
- Good knowledge of GMP/FDA regulatory requirements, housekeeping, and health and safety.
