Job Description

Job Overview TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures. The Weekend Night shift hours are Friday & Saturday 6pm to 6am, however, this is a flexible position with up to 39 hours available. Shift Allowance: 33%. Job Responsibilities As a Production Supervisor at TE Connectivity you will have performance responsibility for a line or area within a value stream, that will cover both team performance and key deliverables. We are open to applicants from outside of the medical device industry as we value perspectives and new outlooks from other highly regulated industries : You will manage the day to day activities of the team in a safe environment and be responsible for Health and safety goals Promote a culture of Quality compliance within the production team and to manage a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) system related activities Supervise day to day production to ensure customer requirements are met in a timely, compliant, safe and cost-effective manner Deliver on the build plan in line with customer expectations and product mix Deliver on all KPIs that help the business achieve its goal Work with TA to manage headcount in line with capacity requirements and workforce plan/forecast talent needs You will ensure that employee training matrix is in place and maintained to enhance shop floor skillsets to create a customer and right-first time focus Qualifications Qualification in related discipline desirable 3+ Years experience of people management in an industrial environment Key Requirements Experience in a regulated environment is an advantage Experience of using Lean Tools and problem-solving techniques, Yellow/Green Belt desirable For more information and a discussion about your next career move email Skills: People Management Project Management Lean Manufacturing Production Scheduling Benefits: Annual Bonus / 13th Cheque VHI Pension Flexible Hours
