Production Team Leader: Lead a team of production professionals to achieve high-quality results and meet customer needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assume responsibility for your area and be accountable for all aspects of the team's performance.
  • Act as first point of contact for issues and seek resolution using the skills and resources of the team.
  • Work with support functions to ensure customer needs are met with an emphasis on delighting the customer.
  • Implement schedules, methods, and processes, allocate manpower and resources, identify problems, and provide solutions and improvements.

**Requirements:**

  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Self-motivated and capable of motivating team members to meet team and plant objectives.
  • Leaving Cert or equivalent, and a third-level qualification is an advantage.
  • Leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, planning, analytical/problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of Materials/Inventory planning systems is essential.
  • SAP experience required.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.

  • Meet production schedules and customer scheduled delivery dates through effective use of available resources and manufacturing best practices.
  • Strive for continuous improvement through support of improvement projects.
  • Participate and lead in the use of 3i, PDCA, 5 S, Kaizen, A3, and Six Sigma tools.
  • Foster good employee relations through effective feedback and two-way communication.
  • Cultivate a high-performance, self-directed work ethic amongst teams through people-centric leadership style.
