Clare Reports To:TBC Requirement:On-Site Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivatedProduct/Process Development Technicianto join our clients dynamic team in Shannon. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and improving our products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Your expertise in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, keen attention to detail, and technical knowledge will be crucial to driving our product development initiatives forward. Key Responsibilities Product Testing:Conduct thorough product testing, focusing on functionality, performance, and durability to ensure products meet quality standards and customer requirements. Documentation & Design Support:Assist in the creation and maintenance of design inputs, product specifications, technical drawings, and other essential documentation in line with design control procedures. Manufacturing Process Development:Contribute to the development of efficient manufacturing processes and procedures, optimizing production quality and efficiency. Onsite Manufacturing Support:Provide onsite support at manufacturing facilities, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure products meet quality, regulatory, and business requirements. Project Management:Track and report on project activities, manage schedules, identify risks, and implement contingency plans. Ensure clear and effective communication with all internal and external stakeholders. Product Validation:Support the introduction of new products and upgrades by assisting in validation activities, including protocol execution for equipment, processes, and test validations. Supplier Collaboration:Collaborate with key suppliers and their manufacturing teams to drive and support process and product improvements. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:Ensure all health, safety, and environmental standards are met in all activities. Continuous Improvement:Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation in product development. Additional Duties:Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor. Qualifications & Skills Required Experience:Minimum of 2 years experience in product development, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Education:Relevant Level 8 qualification in Science or Engineering. Technical Skills: Familiarity with product testing methodologies and quality assurance processes. Knowledge of FDA guidelines and ISO 13485 requirements with a working knowledge of international standards. Project Management:Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Communication Skills:Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Technical Acumen:Strong ability to understand complex technical concepts and develop practical solutions. Attention to Detail:Meticulous with a strong focus on accuracy in testing and documentation.
